THIS IS A TWO FENDER-TAG CAR THAT WAS ORIGINALLY A CHRYSLER CORPORATION EXECUTIVE-ORDERED LEASE CAR (SALES CODE Y22) THAT WAS SCHEDULED TO BE BUILT ON FRIDAY, APRIL 30TH, 1971 AT THE HAMTRAMCK ASSEMBLY PLANT IN DETROIT, MICHIGAN. When added to the base price, the total comes to $4, 121.30 plus the destination charge. CONDITION This car runs and looks great and ready to enjoy immediately. The paint and trim are beautiful. The engine is a rebuilt period correct big block 383. The transmission and rear axle are rebuilt and work flawlessly. The restoration took several years with the final assemble and detailing done at "Restorations By Julius". The car has been completely stripped to bare metal and taken apart with all rust either being repaired or replaced with new panels. New floors, trunk floor, rear fenders, driver' s door skin all new. Front fenders and roll pan have been reworked. Grill, hood, trunk lid, inner fenders, frame is original and rust free. The car has been painted underside to the same standard as the top. It has not been undercoated yet so as to show the condition of the frame and floors. The interior is all restored Legendary, with white Gran Coupe Leather for the seats. The dash, door panels, instruments, radio, and carpets are new or restored. CHANGES FROM BUILD SHEET Several changes from the original specifications of the Build Sheet were made during restoration. These were done for personal taste and can easily be changed back if desired. The interior seat covers and side panels were changed from the origional factory blue, standard ' Cuda interior to white with the front leather seats as available in the Grand Coupe. The ' 14 Rally Wheels were upgraded to 15" Magnum 500 style with BF Goodrich Radial T/A' s. The standard drum brakes were upgraded to power front disks. The rear speaker has been left out. The original air conditioning system has been completely replaced and upgraded to a new Vintage Air system. The car has not been undercoated. While the car is a nice driver and can be taken to shows now there are still items that can be worked on and improved for someone who enjoys restoring the car to the next level.
